Over the weekend we were invited at Parmigiana, A venue offering contemporary Italian cuisine while still offering a classic touch for a casual dining experience. The restaurant offers a wide array of menu from bruschetta, pasta, pizza and Parmigiana dishes.
They have recently introduced a new offering Buon Cibo. Every Thursday you can experience a fun and delicious table service dinner event that blends food, and drinks, to start your weekend right! Yes with lovely ambiance and humble servings we enjoyed unlimited servings of antipasti, pizza, and then our choice of main course and dessert complemented with beverages.
Starting from antipasti, personalized drinks, main course and till dessert we felt engaged & WOW ! Staff personally serve the food with big smile. And yes, if you are visiting them during the day Parmigiana have fantastic views of Corniche.
Antipasti open buffet was very well crafted, chef are available readily around the buffet area to take your through each dish and guide you for ingredients. Insalata, cheese counter, Zucca alforno con & cold cuts were all enjoyed by entire family.
Unlimited serving of pizza right over your dining table was a nice touch. The Margarita pizza was excellent, the mixture of different cheeses explodes a yummy taste on our palate. With a more added toppings of meat, chicken, mushrooms & truffles makes you a satisfying spender, you can inform the server of your preferred choices in pizza variety.
Main options have variety of dishes. Rigatoni & Parmigiana Di pollo (crumbs fried chicken fillet with provolone cheese melted on top) were my favorite. Did i mention that Parmigiana Di pollo was served as heart shape 🙂 Braised Veal cheek & pressed belly were super tender & delicious. The risotto did not impress me that much, as I expected more from it.
Desserts include panna cotta, gelato & tiramisu. Tiramisu was great in taste but not beautiful in its presentation. Passion fruit sauce on exotic fruit panna cotta gave a unique taste.
All in all it was a great experience definitely Buon Cibo i-e Good food! My folks were in town and accompanied too and we even visited next day just to have great time glaring city skyline in the evening. I can definitely & positively vouch for their food and the hospitality being my regular to go place for special foodie day out whenever friends and family are visiting in town.
