‘Open Sesame!’ The new Friday Brunch at Khalidiya Palace Rayhaan by Rotana, Abu Dhabi is here and ready to mesmerize. Ali Baba and 40 Chef’s Brunch is offered at Horizon, an all-day dining venue, which promises to have “global gourmet.” It seems obvious that brunch would follow that line and it would be “international.”
However Arabic cuisine appears to be winning the battle for buffet space, be it salad counters or even the main dishes. We later find that there is also a Morrocan tea stand in line with the themed. The restaurant offers theme décor. Wooden Antique Style Chest and jewels plus all those glittery elements to excite all your memory and taste senses.
We did savor tasty plates from all over the world. The chefs awaited to top our plates at the live cooking stations with your all-time favorite Pasta and Arabic desserts. We had joined the enchanted adventure last Friday from 12:30 pm until 4:00 pm amidst turquoise waters of the Arabian Gulf Sea along with our family.Thie brunch offered the finest international and oriental flavors and did live up to our expectations to tell the tale!
Alongside waiters trendy Ali Baba style dresses and theme vibe, the brunch has many resemblances to the theme in counter setup, main dishes wer good but did not impress me the most. The dessert section, however, is much more impressive in taste as well as in décor. You can enjoy as much as you like from the salad & starters (hot mezzeh, which is the signature of Horizon), followed by plenty of mains as well as Pasta variety from Live counters.
We loved making the huge bowl of scrumptious salad. Mixed grill and Steamed Fish with herbs and lime dressing were mouth-watering. The live stands of Cotton candy, popcorn, and ice-cream kept little ones engaged. The only element I found missing was some staff presence with regards to orientation for diners about kids buffet spread and some special tea counters in outside area of the restaurant too. I noticed it late but found it pretty amazing to keep those little humans occupied who accompanied us being Khalidiya Palace rayhaan Rotana as their favorite and close to heart destination. Oh, and they have a special 50% discount for the little ones too, so don’t forget to take them along.
I would highly recommend to try out this themed brunch with friends & family. Everything about this brunch from the name of the promotion till it’s actual ambiance, suggests it’s going to be a splendid foodie family affair. Grab your favorite brunch bunch and make sure to secure your space for a full day of fine food and great company!
