Overview
It was a great event. All the dishes were passionately prepared and cooked by Thai Brand Executive Chef. They prepare tasty dishes using quality ingredients sourced in Thailand that reflect their passion for food and Thailand. Famous thai Raw papaya salad was the best in taste here compare to other Thai restaurants.
Event
Lemongrass Thai Restaurant Galleria Mall, Al Maryah Island Abu Dhabi took part in a Dining Week last month at the Mall. They conducted a Cooking Demo performed by Brand Executive Chef and one of their head chefs. We also received an invite and attended the same eventually became a part of their experience and passion. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted via Sawadee Kah! at the restaurant. Lemongrass Thai Restaurant is one of the first restaurants in the UAE offering fresh, authentic Thai cuisine in the relaxing ambiance on casual dining segment. They also do deliveries and catering services.
Food
We tasted a mixed platter of hot appetizers consisting of Poh Pia Ped(Veg spring roll), Satay Gai (Grilled Marinated chicken skewer), Tod Man Pla (Fried Fish Balls skewers), Seafood savory cake and glass noodles salad. Tasted delicious it was served with peanut and Thai sauce. Every item on this starter set was flavorsome since prepared with keen care and inclusion of finest ingredients. We also tried very famous Pad Thai demonstrated & prepared by Brand Executive Chef. It was egg wrapped wok fried rice (Egg net, checkers blanket on top was a treat to eyes).

Verdict
Last but not the least we tasted steamed curry with Green Curry with Chilli & Sweet Basil. All the things we tasted were yummy along with Lychee Mocktail in chilled drinks. The only area of improvement I feel is the staff training at taking orders and being efficient, as it did not give a restaurant feeler like other branches of the same brand (even though they are in the mall too). There is a very decent sitting area though still, it’s more of a food court counter vibes which I wish will be upgraded in our next visit.
