We were warmly to an exclusive and an evocative Italian Lifestyle Journey in a unique property and an outstanding setting of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi last month. Starwood Hotels & Resorts Italy, under the auspices of the Embassy of Italy in the United Arab Emirates, hosted this glamourous event to present its Italian hotels and the Italian lifestyle, an authentic immersion into style and cuisine, in the luxurious atmosphere of The St. Regis Abu Dhabi. They brought their properties in Rome, Venice, Florence, Milan, Costa Smeralda and Trieste to Abu Dhabi, through this exclusive event.

The exclusive night at The St. Regis Abu Dhabi featured two Italian lifestyle events: an Italian afternoon Tea, dedicated to ladies only, from 5 pm to 7 pm, starred a top fashion show by the renowned Italian designer Giada Curti; and an epicurean dinner showcased regional Italian cuisine, from 7.30 pm onwards, where guests enjoyed Italian fine dining thanks to the special participation of three excellent chefs from Starwood properties in Italy.
The charm and style of the St Regis Abu Dhabi was the perfect stage for the creations of the talented Italian fashion designer Giada Curti, whoturns dreams into fabulous gowns. Giada Curti, loving the world of fashion since childhood, after her artistic studies, travels and many experiences in the industry created her own Haute Couture brand in 2002 along with her life companion Antonio Curti. After the early success of her works, in 2010 Giada proudly presented her collection at AltaRoma and she was acclaimed as a rising star of the Italian Haute Couture. Her career continued to rise, she took part in a series of international fashion events, which brought her dresses to the most important red carpets such as Los Angeles, Cannes and Venice. Giada Curti Couture is sophisticated, extremely glamourous and romantic, every detail makes her gowns unique and beautiful. During the afternoon Giada Curti surprised guests by showcasing her latest collection among which some pieces were inspired by the lifestyle and high impact look of the Venetian noble lady “Divina Marchesa” and the futuristic ferment that she had triggered with her life.
In the evening, from 7.30 pm onwards, a dinner reception satisfied the most exigent guests who savor the best of Italian fine dining of the creative and enthusiastic chefs of the Excelsior Hotel Gallia, Milan – DavideCastoldi – The Gritti Palace in Venice – Daniele Turco – and the Cala di Volpe Hotel in Costa Smeralda, Sardinia– Maurizio Locatelli.
