Last week we were invited to review the staycation at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. Located in One of the premier locations of the Capital the bustling grandeur of the iconic Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi belies the beauty of the bay beyond. This award-winning city resort boasts a central location that’s directly connected to the shops, cinemas, and services of Abu Dhabi Mall, and mere minutes from Saadiyat Island and the Corniche. Abu Dhabi International airport is just a 30-minute drive. This Lovely relaxing hotel is excellent for family travelers.
Staff
The front desk team is delightful and very helpful resulting in a swift check-in procedure, they know how to treat their guests with care and assist & address you respectfully & never forget your name. The concierge staff is also very polite & accommodating with my phone charging requests. I rate them high for fantastic service from the friendly, ever smiling staff. We also notice daily housekeeping service leaving back the cute Rotana facts post cards on our pillows. They will always greet you with a smile while you bumped into any of them while passing through the corridors. Also, we had 24-hour room service, and the staff was kind enough even to warm up the food upon my daughter’s request.
Rooms:
Rooms were very spacious, clean, modern and comfortable along with luxury linens, excellent WiFi, and attentive service. In general, all rooms have many accessible features like wheelchair accessibility, lowered wash basin & Emergency pull cord in toilets.
We indeed had experienced the luxurious comfort of the hotel rooms and suites at Beach Rotana Abu Dhabi. From sunlit family suites and luxurious lodgings to quiet rooms which are perfect for the business traveler, as well as for family excursion trips. They allow us to proudly select the perfect accommodation for our stay in Abu Dhabi. We loved being a tourist in our very own city.

Premium Suite Tale:
We stayed in Premium Suite; our spacious and airy Premium Suite was tastefully furnished to delight our visual senses as well as comfort levels. At 145 square meters in size, this Suite has one bedroom with a separate living room, two private balconies with waterfront views of the beautiful coast line, comfortable workspace and a dining table for four people, perfect for our petite family of 2 adults and two kids.
In the room, amenities were so fulfilled with Jacuzzi bath and walk-in rain shower both. There were luxury bathroom fixtures and toiletries, Bathrobes and hair dryer, mini bar, Complimentary tea and coffee making facilities, bottled water, iPod docking station, multi-satellite TV, IDD and high-speed WIFI, voice mail and in-room safe were added features. Our overall stay at Beach Rotana was highly influenced by the Room comfort, lovely high-quality bedding and other services provided by the hotel which was up to the mark and was faultless.
Highs
- Great for families who want an authentic family friendly experience. They have dedicated kids’ club (with assisting staff), pool and playground.
- The grand size of the hotel allows for many activities and spacious facilities like garden, two separate swimming pools, Kids club, and gym,
- Its ideal location means you are in the cosmopolitan city as well as being able to find the serenity and calmness on the other side of shore seeing the water break.
- Accessibility to Abu Dhabi Mall, Yes, a direct mall Access from within the hotel is much convenient.
- High-Speed WIFI in all rooms, suites and public areas
Lows
- Water sports equipment are available, however, we did try to find out the mechanism, but assistance wasn’t much satisfactory.
Beach Club:
Kids Pool is comparatively small but nice and clean with helpful staff. The adult pool in infinity and is the most amazing one. Also, there is a private beach with the large spacious area; it’s very crowded and has lots of sun loungers. Nice light blue fluffy beach towels and ice water is also available upon request. We also enjoyed touring the private beach club with complete facilities along with Mr. Martin, Director of Spa and Recreation, who has given us a guided tour showing swimming pools, squash and tennis courts, water sports area, kid’s club, and extensive gym with most interesting space Level Up.
They also provide Personal training and sports coaching. At Beach Club, you will step into a hidden world of recreational diversions in the expansive grounds of Beach Rotana, for the ultimate in sport, well-being, and fitness, overlooking the glittering water-front
Members of Beach Club can enjoy the following privileges:
- Access to the 120m private beach and temperature-controlled infinity swimming pool
- Sports facilities such as water sports, three floodlit all-weather tennis courts, and two squash courts
- State-of the art gym offering personal training, fitness classes and sports massages
- Two Beach Bars
- Covered kids’ outdoor and indoor play area including a kid’s pool
We have earlier enjoying dining at Finz, stunning seafood destination on the water. Including same, there are around 11 Dining options abound from the French-Polynesian, Indian, Italian, German, and more. F&B is one of the strongest fortes for this flagship of all Rotana properties in Abu Dhabi. We had genuinely enjoyed our meal and food journey at this lovely hotel across our stay. Zen Spa:
We were also treated to a relaxing and rejuvenating bespoke treatment of 60 minutes Aroma Therapy Massage in Zen the spa, which is famous for the signature Rasul mud treatments and spa baths. Zen the spa at Beach Rotana is the first of its kind in Abu Dhabi. Based on three pillars of Relax, Refresh & Rebalance, the spa is well equipped with all the facilities. I would highly recommend all my readers to try this venue. From massages, facials, beauty, and well-being treatments all available, here are some highlights:
- Ten treatment rooms
- Two tranquility suites and relaxation areas making the place a true Resort Retreat.
- A dedicated Spa Team of therapists with high level of competencies and skills offers a wide treatment menu.
I would also like to mention about the simple, hassle-free front desk procedures, which allowed me to quickly fill out the information form with in the treatment room where I sit back and relax while the prompt staff guided me to the treatment room and took care of the rest. Malika was my therapist who performed the massage diligently. She took note of the attention seeking areas and removed all those tensions and stress knots soaring my shoulders. She made sure I get treated to a much-deserved balanced and relaxing break. It was a unique and breathtaking well-being experience that I will seek again pretty soon.
Verdict:
It is a lovely hotel overall. We’ll stay here again in our future travels. Very Urban, Affordable, laid-back. If your thing is fun and enjoyment with family along with resting in a relaxing environment, Beach Rotana will suit you down to the ground in every aspect. An unpretentious venue that serves up simple pleasures with flamboyance. Sun, sea, sand, and swimming pool are the main ingredients, accompanied with a generous dash of friendly service. Not to forget its real gem i-e 120-metre private beach with white sand. I can’t just stop raving about its beach.
From our perfect pillow to the Italian style of dining at Beach Rotana, we thoroughly enjoyed our family friendly summer Staycation. I can phrase this Staycation as a luxury one of the most idyllic beaches imaginable over-looking man-made island. I thoroughly recommend this resort for a great value holiday and would go again with my family.
