Five Guys – Fresh’ is the word.

In love of burger we decided to pay visit to this famous burger chain globally and had crested quite a buzz in capital lately. We were excited yet anticipating one great experience. It was fun watching the staff wrapping the burgers, frying and filling those yummy shakes. It’s not a gourmet burger hence don’t fancy much in terms of packing, they wrap it in aluminum foil and serve you on the table in recycled brown bags (we loved this Eco-friendly aspect)

Mechanism:

Menu is limited which is a plus, you won’t take time in choosing the items except customization. Infact that’s the whole game where a very patient staff will come down to you noting all your preferences of veggies, sauces and ingredients’ and will make it as per your choice. Again these extra toppings are added without extra charges. There was an option of raw and fried onions (now there you catch the attention of desi burger lovers too). We grabbed some peanuts which was kept near the counter (loaded in big bags) to binge on our gossips till we get our burgers prepared! No way you limit the fun and Chit Chat, telling ya the place was loud in terms of servers and diners.

The venue has trouble-free decoration with comfy chairs and sofas along with high chair seating. Also they have space outside the outlet on terrace overlooking Bounce. As expected walls are decorated with many frames with burger  quotes, testimonials and reviews of Five Guys international chain. the employees greeted everyone with a smile and as clean as could be.

Food Rundown:

Fries were ok-eish for me as I like mine crispy and firm (as it shows in picture all over their walls). They were abundant though lumpy. I loved the taste of Cajun spice over salted ones but my only complaint was with fries texture.

Burgers were juicy and the bun was so soft, Beef patty was tender with minimal seasoning which might be a negative for others but was actually pro to taste the genuine meat quality. With an open kitchen counter you can actually witness their preparation been done via lively staff. They were really busy at work and enjoying it in every bit of sense.

If you have been struggling to find a good Oreo shake in Abu Dhabi this is your spot. We ordered one and it was just mind blowing. Salted Caramel was indeed a wonderful sweet and saltey treat and strawberry milk shake was the way it should be. It’s their main highlight  I won’t mind going back for those Milkshakes alone.

Verdict:

Flavors is fresh and tasty, need to work on fries. The quality of ingredients is something noticeable. They were slight pricey but worth paying. Overall I leave this new burger founding happy chiefly my kids, they had a full tummy and were happily sipping on those awesome shakes. Hence I can say it’s a family-friendly joint.
