Last week we made a trip to this beautiful property Radisson Blu Alain to enjoy the day-cation. It was lovely from Abu Dhabi to stunning Alain enjoying the city’s landscapes.
Swimming Pool:
Upon reaching the hotel, we enjoyed our time at the poolside where kids played at the kid’s area and took a dip in their family pool. Even my infant has enjoyed his time at their kid’s friendly property and in the kid’s pool. Since it was a lazy Friday enjoying our excursion we started feeling hungry and decided to enjoy our Friday brunch at Flavours Restaurant.
Flavours Restaurant – Friday Brunch Review:
The place is spacious with a good ambiance & had a decent buffet with practical dishes on the menu to choose from. They also boast lovely décor and a cute & cozy ‘Kids Corner’ with dedicated kids meal ( an ideal menu with favorite picks for fussy eaters). The highlight of the list for us was live Pizza & pasta making counters.
It was equally popular with kids too along with candy floss & popcorn carts. Menu line-up was not too long though the selection was very impressive. There is something you must try i-e their savory version of a crepe. With Minced chicken filling it was really delicious served with tomato chutney on the side.
Grand Salad section in the center was also a highlight with a mix of international salad variety as well as Arabic cold mezzeh collection.
Fresh Fruits, Juices, Sausages, Cold Cuts Meats, Fruit Yoghurt & much more. Staff was polite & courteous & makes you feel comfortable; they very well looked after us. They immediately offered to bring in a meal chair to our table for my little one. The Chef has even prepared a customized pizza and delicious pasta combos with the flavors we liked and served it to our table.
Beach Club Pool Cafe experience:
Post-brunch kids have decided to invade the swimming pool once again. While we relaxed & lounged by the side, we started feeling hungry before the sunset and once again Radisson Blu Alain Pool Cafe came to rescue with refreshing drinks and yummy snacks. We loved their pizzas & crispy prawn tempura. Nachos were the absolute star & finished in a matter of minutes.
Blue Lagoon drink and Strawberry Mojito was my favorite amongst the juices. If you are really hungry, do try their Burger, and for careful eaters, I would recommend their Chicken Avacado Salad. I was delighted with the quality of the ingredients.
Overall we were so happy we decided to eat in here again and spent a night or two in the hotel on our next excursion trip to Alain!
