P&C by Sergi Arola Marks it First Birthday

Time flies as it is the first anniversary of p&c by Sergi Arola. We were honored to get an invitation to mark this milestone occasion with talented Shangri-La team.  Sergi was there himself serving his dishes, tapas, canapes. As we meet & greet and chat with Sergi Arola during the big bash evening, he mentioned the new menu items, which will be launched after Ramadan.

“Food is a necessity, but it should also be a pleasure. Our creations, our menus, they are about experience, flavour, colour, presentation and delivery, designed to be shared and enjoyed together. We’re looking to bring those elements to the dining table, so our guests can have the best time possible with friends and loved ones,” said Arola.

Some funky beats were played as the guest enjoyed the weekend with a bang. Audio Tonic were also playing until 3 a.m. All in all, it was a great event with the tastiest bites of Spanish & Arabic Flavours. 2 factors made this venture successful, the catching concept of tapas & bites he and his team is known for and property’s (Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi) service standards. Together it craft flashes that evening people will reminisce through long time.

New Menu

Taking the Spanish sharing concept of tapas, Arola’s eclectic menu announced on first birthday takes on board cultural sensitivities and provides a broad selection of taste sensations, prepared with Mediterranean flair and the freshest ingredients. Guests can expect to see Chef Arola’s take on classic dishes, such as Tortilla de Patatas al ‘Cubo’, Oxtail Ravioli, Bocata de Calamares and adaptations of Paella, Arroz and Crème Catalan.

p&c by Sergi Arola is a signature restaurant at Shangri-La Hotel, Qaryat Al Beri, Abu Dhabi. A first in the Middle East for the Michelin-starred Chef Arola, the standalone restaurant brings an eclectic experience, pitting cutting-edge modernity against a traditional backdrop of the Sheikh Zayed Grand Mosque. The restaurant operates a smart-casual dress code for guests and, for preferred comfort, incorporates interior and outdoor dining spaces, with seating for 120 people.

The dining destination offers a comprehensive menu of delectable tapas, sleek surroundings and stunning views across the waterfront of Khor Maqta. The flamboyant Spanish chef and restaurateur brings years of experience, having launched a series of restaurants across the world.
