Pit Stop Friday Brunch at Origins
Thank you Yas Viceroy Abu Dhabi for inviting us to a family-friendly brunch at Origins restaurant. Throughout the afternoon, my family and I indeed discovered more about what makes Yas Viceroy the ultimate family hotel. It is unique from its child-friendly facilities (Yes we also visited their remarkable play zone Generation V, stay tuned to read in details about it!) in the hotel as well as the ones to its proximity to the nearby leisure attractions on Yas Island.
While exploring this Family Friendly Buffet we cruise through amazing live cooking stations reflecting cuisines from the most famous racecourses in the world from Monaco to Shanghai, from the Middle East to India. The brunch offers a delicious international buffet with free-flowing drinks stations and live music from our resident DJ.
Live BBQ & Grilled variety station over the terrace is another highlight of the grand buffet at Origins. The beef lamington & Pizza bites prepared fresh and were delicious. Salad counter is huge and nutritious for all calorie conscious people, and yes there is la la land for desserts just outside the restaurant in the lobby which is more like a dream-zone for diners. It is loaded with over 50+ variety of desserts and was surely hard to choose which one to go for in the presence of best of the best sweet options.
This family-friendly brunch also comes with two hours’ free access to Generation V lounge and also features a dedicated children’s’ playroom next door to the restaurant, complete with a special mini buffet offering delicious child-friendly options.
Kids also get to have the inflated castle, play station, and other games along with the Kids buffet offers over Food train. Staff is super friendly and caring. Or you also have the option of joining kids for an afternoon of family fun at Generation V or leave them be while enjoying the hotel facilities.
All in all Yas Viceroy’s Friday Pit Stop brunch is ideal for families thanks to its dedicated kid’s buffet and play area, keeping the little ones occupied while mum and dad let their hair down. With a selection of live cooking stations, BBQ Cooking stations, Mega Dessert section, Delicious in-house ravioli’s live preparation, Chaat & Pani puri corner and a wide selection of international cuisines to choose from, this brunch is a hit for all ages.

Generation V at Yas Viceroy
Generation V is a 335m2 state of the art indoor kids zone at Yas Viceroy, which has been carefully designed to boost creativity and engagement and encourages younger guests to let their imagination run wild. Fully supervised by highly trained staff, Generation V features a multitude of wall cut-outs and tunnels which interlink the different spaces which include sound tubing, wall climbing, play stations, playhouses and a soft play area.
Offering an entertaining and educational experience for children aged 4 to 12, Generation V has been carefully designed to allow children to boost their creativity by exploring, playing, learning, making friends and most importantly, having fun! Generation V has a host of special entertainment from face painting and arts and crafts, to exciting treasure hunts.

Pricing:
- In-house guests will receive 2 hours free per child per day in Generation V.
- Guests using ESPA or dining in one of our restaurants can enjoy 2 hours with compliments.
- Each hour after that is charged at AED 75
- (Generation V cannot be pre-booked, and allocation is on a first come first served basis).
