Iftar menu at Corniche offers around 200 hot and cold dishes that include succulent veal cuisines, sumptuous desserts and a multitude of Arabian delights.
“Iftar preparation is a joint effort of more than 40 Sofitel’s chefs. The menu selection will be changed daily,” said Kim Gates, Executive Chef at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche.
The highlight of the buffet are the 8 live stations including: charcoal grilled marinated chicken and lamb, Egyptian kushary, manakeish, chicken shawarma, fresh pasta & sauces, several kinds of kunafa, and a large selection of French pastries. The ever-favorite whole lamb ouzi, together with whole marinated ‘rotisserie’ chicken, and Jordanian ‘mansaf’ will be presented every day during Ramadan. The salad bar is presented with an assortment of more than 50 Arabic salads, condiments, dressings, nuts and a wide variety of Arabic and western cheese. Our in house bakers will provide a station dedicated exclusively to homemade Moroccan and Arabic bread plus Egyptian pita and alfayesh. Sofitel’s French Pastry chefs prepared a dessert buffet that includes a wide selection of cakes, tarts and puddings along with Arabic and Moroccan sweets.
