Look no further for the best of Punjabi food, yes we are talking about none other than the newly opened Punjabi Dhaba in Capital’s downtown. Softest & most succulent tikkas and tandoori items. Fish tikka and Murgh Malai boti is my favourite. We also tasted the complimentary immunity booster which was super refreshing and have this soothing punch.
In mains, you have so many choices. I kept my food tasting limited to basic and choose the famous items. Want to know my feedback?! well by far the tastiest Punjabi curries I have tasted elsewhere in Abu Dhabi. Nothing can beat their kadi chawal & Mutton dhaba. Lemon Soda / Shikanji is a great combo to try out with spicy Punjabi food and mark my words if you did not try their lassi you are literally missing out on the whole Punjabi feel.
Vegetarian foodies will love their bhindi do pyaza and signature makai(corn) ki roti and Sarson ka saag with ghee Tarka!
We have also tried their vegetarian tandoori mix platter as a starter and its absolutely enthralling, the 3 style cottage cheese, bharwan (stuffed) mushroom, chatpata Aaloo & 2-way veg shami kebabs were to die for!
We also tried assorted bread and Missi (besan ki) roti, it has the perfect balance of crisp & soft. Meetha (Desserts) was super tasty as well, we tried Gajar ka halwa, Kulfi & Gulab Jaman and each was delicious in its own league. We highly recommend this restaurant to satisfy your craving tastebuds for Punjabi cuisine. The best in Town!
