DoubleTree by Hilton Dubai – Jumeirah at The Walk , JBR has crafted a special Ramadan menu at its signature restaurant Al-Maeda; offering a traditional Ramadan Iftar and Sohour inspired by the most popular Levant and North Africa dishes.
We were privileged to preview their Ramadan Offering last week. Venue boasted modern elegance in a family friendly atmosphere, the restaurant served a selection of signature dishes to include the Traditional Moroccan Tagine, a delicious Lentil Soup and for dessert a sweet Um Ali. We loved the following items from the menu the most.
- Meloui – Moroccan Pancakes (Round version of Msemen)
- Couscous (Famous Morrocon dish and well recommended by ever smiling Chef Halima)
- Traditional Briouat – (Morrocon Samosa) stuffed with shrimp and rice vermicelli
- Moroccan Fish Tagine
Chef Lawrence Alnajjad, Al-Maeda Sous Chef has well prepared the menu for guests and was mingling with guest on ramadan preview event. He encouraged feedback on taste for specially created menu by us and other guest. He mentioned “The preparation for the holy month of Ramadan is very important for us, we want to make sure every Iftar and Suhoor is wholesome and rich ready to be enjoyed amongst family members and friends“
As mentioned by the Marketing Manager, to enhance the Iftar dining experience, there are many other interesting factors involved;
