SHOP MY CLOSET

I have attended a fun-filled fashion event at Le Meridian Hotel, Abu Dhabi’s The Latest Recipe Restaurant, brought to all by one of our lovely Fashionista, Antoinette Chorlton, fashion stylist and blogger from “Glamour on the Go”. The “Shop My Closet” event sell pre-loved, high-end and designer fashion from the personal closets of fabulous fashionista’s, giving an exclusive look inside their private collections.

Guest were actually shopping from the closets and got the chance to buy unique fashion pieces at a fraction of the price! YES, I myself have got 4-5 pieces of clothes within 500 dhs only. And guess what most of them are unworn items specially cloths with even their tags on till date. I was actually even glad to grab one of the limited edition linen jacket style upper which was a limited edition from the brand and I missed buying it when it came 6 months back. This lady from Holland very generously offered me the same with humongous discount as it was not fit for her from the shoulders and she dint even remove the tag.

There were10 closets selling from high-street, to high-end designer brands from sizes 4 – 16+ and from all price ranges and budgets.

Some Highlights:

  • The first 50 ladies to show up received a goody-bag!
  • A welcome drink was offered.
  • Raffle draw which included prizes such as a spa voucher, personal shopping session with the organizer from Glamour on the Go and a Guess handbag
  • A make-up artist performing mini makeovers on the attendees
