You must have spot those advertisement of Joe’s Crab Shack, well it’s opened and the Residents of Dubai are in for a “crabalicious” treat as the famous crab steampots land on UAE Shores.
We were been invited at the launch of newely opened venture of Saleh Bin Lahej Group-Hospitality Division.
The venue is thrilling, it’s THE DUBAI MALL! You can enjoy a taste of the shore while out for shopping, as the very first, Joe’s Crab Shack, outside of the USA is opened. Joe’s Crab Shack is located on the second floor, next to the aquarium, hence as I said its indeed thrilling to see those string rays and sea world and hundreds of species of fishes passing by while you are dinning in. The owners are indeed upbeat about the new concept. We were been greeted well and were treated to the finest selection of fresh crabs and lobsters along with signature drinks.
I have to mention about Shark Bite here, Its refreshing and sizzling Citrus Drink and with that extra quotient of blueberry syrup pouring in from the shark itself makes it more tastier and dark. You get to take away that shark toy with you once you done with your food. Also you will be provided with lots of tools for crabbing , if you steal them at least you know where you get them from courtesy to it’s slogan “ I am stolen from Joe’s Crab Shack”
Be ready to get to experience the sea shore trends as we tie on a bib having a quirky craby line or title and crack into those famous crab buckets. Don’t worry about the mess, they are all prepared you get to have this built-in bucket for that purpose and a huge roll of tissue around to get set and go.
The Joe’s Crab Shack “100% Shore” menu offers Southern flavors and spices that add a delicious, unexpected twist to fresh, high-quality seafood. Menu favorites include Steampots; mouth-watering crab dishes featuring Dungeness, snow and king crab; and signature seafood entrees. Their starters were even to die for, I tried Shrimps Nachos and cheese sticks and were so yummy. In crabs pot we opted for Joe’s Crab Shack’s ‘The Ragin Cajun’ is a very distinct pot of crabs. It came to our table in Dutch Oven, and also has jumbo shrimps, huge sausage and corn. The Cajun flavor makes it really spicy and close to our Asian taste buds.
In desserts we tried ‘Sea Turtle Sundae’, it has brownie bars with vanilla ice cream scoop. A good closing to a hefty meal.
