I had a Sugar Day.. Sugar Factory – City Walk

Sugar Factory at City Walk having an ideal location for an American Brasserie is out all favorite place for sorted Sugar Rush hours. It is very happening place being a tourist attraction. Whether it was walking through their bustling retail shop, sitting side-by-side over dinner with Mr. K and my munchkins and sipping on those mind-blowing Goblets I loved each and every moment of my visit to Sugar Factory – City Walk Dubai.

Some say those goblets are too pricey and are mere tourist trap drinks in America but believe me these non-alcoholic versions they served to diners here in UAE not only surprised us with the dramatic presentation but also wowed us leaving wide-eyed amazed. They are trending, and I exactly know why so. Would I have bothered without the smoke? But they look so pretty 😉 plus attractive.

With names like Lollipop Passion, White Gummi, Rasberry Water Melon Goblet, Mai Tai, and Peace love harmony, we’re bound to find a drink we will love. Ideally, it’s the one includes fruits like melon pineapple, orange, and passion fruit, our favorite candy, and to the top, it adds a blast of liquid nitrogen for that cool “fog” visual. Oh and this place did serve all that so well. I have swept away, tasting all the Goblets in the first place (perks of being a food blogger 😉 check my video sipping through  the entire haul.)

Let’s not forget the food; it’s pretty darn good too.  I needed something to calm my palate down, and I chose, to begin with, the tasty duo of Strawberry Spinach Salad & Chicken Mushroom Soup. The soup was great in taste. However, I would still prefer tiny bits of crouton rather than an entire crouton crust, as it started sinking in and got soggy quicker than rather floating pieces of croutons. The salad was so refreshing and addictive.

Next up were sampler platter with a mix of Onion rings, wings, chicken fritters and mac and cheese balls. It was kids’ favorite, and they enjoyed it with yummy 3 sauces. Chicken waffles and lobster roll followed the food run down. The lobster roll was unique while Chicken waffle was even more distinctive. It was crunchy and delightful with all the right elements to please our taste buds. Chicken Paillard was surprisingly tasty. This dish is served at other countries in Sugar Factory outlets as well. Hence it can truly be hit-or-miss since it’s crafted as per residential diners palates in UAE, believe me, this version is indeed a Hit. If you want to go traditional, try their Classic Burger, it was yummy.

Two of kids favorite were Taco Mexicana pizza & Five spiced chicken. Both are made to perfection and with its true originality to its names. It was very comfortable food, not Posey at all rather made attractive by its ingredients within. I love the whole curation of this interesting menu local-based chefs team.

This Savoury break was not long lasting, and before we knew it, our server arrived with a host of sweet desserts for our nibbling pleasure! The Nutella Pancake was gigantic topped off with a drizzled Nutella. The taste speaks loud out about the apt standards of this American Brasserie. Smore Crepe in spite of the generous portion is not something to be shared as I alone tossed down an entire serving. Brownie sandwich was great too One more, please!

The Sugar Factory brand has become an instant hit across the UAE offering everyone a sweet escape. We especially enjoyed Goblets of Smoking Liquid Nitrogen at max. We visited their store at City Walk, and the team took good care of us. Special Thanks to Puru, Ruchi & ever smiling staff and the Chefs team of course.

Our drinks and dinner were a part of @MahiBlog media tour at the Sugar Factory CW, all opinions our own.
