Filini Garden at Yas Island, Hotel Radisson Blu is an ideal spot for sundowners in Abu Dhabi. We have been there thrice and enjoyed each time we visit. It a great place for after brunch parties as well. It a lovely ambiance especially when you are sitting outside in a garden, I loved the DJ seat its high and spot on. While sitting outdoor, you can enjoy delicious Italian food which is freshly prepared. Service and hosts are both friendly and kind too.
The outside refurb has entirely changed this place; we loved the open-air concept the Brand mascot Vespa motorbike was placed at both the entrance, the lush foliage-lined green path garden entrance to walk down the lower deck of Mediterranean style garden is the unique home-grown notable change and a very striking feature.
Overall, “Filini Garden” is the perfect place to wind down after a long day. Special thanks to the Marketing team and all the staff for their professional and friendly attitude, especially restaurant servers who will always go that extra step to make sure you have the perfect evening.
We started off the night with some Mocktails/cocktails, delicious appetizers and a Platter of crispy assorted Bruschetta. Arancini bites were scrumptious, and the salad did provide the extra zing and freshness with orange segments. I couldn’t stop munching on mushroom risotto as it oh so luscious!
My self & hubby then tried different mains after tasting the delicious Gnocchi Sorrentina. I loved my pan-fried salmon with fennel and sun-dried tomatoes. I loved the saffron sauce touch with fresh green beans. Hubby devours lamb chops with grilled root vegetables and Salsa. It was tender and juicy.
This place serves some of the best desserts. We tasted the variety of desserts including Lemoni Tart , Cardinal Dark Chocolate mousse, and warm chocolate fondant cake; vanilla milkshake bottle served on side though wasn’t the best combo. It was lovely ending note with those decent looking sweet dishes.
All in all, it was a delightful experience, and I am so looking forward to my repeated visit to this venue and enjoy the Gulf Winters.
