Recently opened in Dubai, the restaurant offers the traditional Arabian cuisine with healthy twist, hand-prepared daily from fresh and natural ingredients, promising a flavor packed treat. It is conveniently located on Ground Floor in Cluster-F, HDS Tower, Jumeirah Lake Towers (JLT). It is an ultimate destination for your hunger calls for healthy and yummy wraps.
Freshness and healthiness are two unique reasons that grabbed my attention and made me try this restaurant. This place offers unusual shawarmas, with a healthy twist and great taste; YaSalam allows you to create your own shawarma sandwich, by choosing from different options of breads, fresh veggies, fillings, dressings and choice of chicken or Lamb etc.
Superfood Salad
My first and foremost recommendation to Mahi Blog readers. This healthy and crunchy salad will literally win your hearts. With all the right amount of nutrition and nutty bites this filling bowl contains all. I loved the mixed green, edamame and Chickpeas combo with today’s quintessential healthy salad ingredient Quinoa. Avocado & Olives chunks were also there to keep a par balance of tangy, sweet and salty elements along with nuts and seeds. The balsamic dressing was just so perfect to compliment this healthy super bowl.
Superfood Shawarma
The Superfood shawarma is must try item on their menu – a slow cooked shawarma is filled with all the goodness of chicken breast, avocado, beetroot, kale, quinoa and balsamic vinaigrette, perfectly wrapped in multigrain flatbread.
Malghoom Sandwich
I also get to try their staple street shawarma; the juicy “Malghoom” a sandwich with explosion of flavors; filled with a spicy mix of chicken, beef, fresh tomato & onion, crisp lettuce, pickles, tahini, garlic sauce and Sriracha hot sauce.
Sides: You can freshen up your combos with yummy sides we tried their thin and sleek Yasalam spicy fries and Onion rings. Fries were so fresh and crispy onion rings were Ok-iesh. Doner wrap was out of stock that day however I so wanted to try the same. The place seems like getting good amount of take away orders as we observed during our visit. It also has an ample amount of seating and they maintain the outlet really well kept in terms of hygiene and spacious factor.

I would definitely recommend this place for sandwiches as they offer multiple options for shawarma sandwiches with healthy twist and delectable taste, however the menu boasts a selection of shawarma, doner wraps and platters, as well as a unique selection of salads and sides.
