Cream of Europe – White Night on the French Riviera

It happens 6 decades before when Alexander Micka, pastry Chef from South of France created the famous sugar topped brioche, Tarte Tropezienne.

To celebrate the 60th Anniversary of the iconic cream tart, The Tropezienne Cniel and the European Union presented an exclusive event that surely brought Mini Saint-Tropez to Dubai.

The ambiance and décor was superb, the venue was so wisely chosen and it can’t get any better than Vida Downtown Dubai. Throughout the evening guests get to taste those amazing cream tarts coming your way from the master chefs. Also we were delighted to taste the savoury ones with mushrooms and duck meat and it’s succulent . It is indeed a great night and celebration to the importance of cream and its versatility. The invited-only guests put on their most stylist white outfit and tastes some unique interpretations of the famous Tropezienne cream tarte by six well-known personalities:

  • Chef Elias Abou Diwan, Dalloyau
  • Chef Ludovic Audaux, Al Habtoor City Complex
  • Chef David Croiser, Wonder Bakery
  • Chef Spencer Lee Black, Vida Hotels & Resorts
  • Chef Izu Ani, La Serre
  • Chef Sebastien Guadard, La Patisserie Des Martyrs
