We have recently attended what we wish to feature as one of the best Buffet in town. It is at “Rosewater” restaurant in Jumeirah at Etihad Towers. Here is our break down of the most amazing areas we review it for. truly a worth buffet for it’s cost !
Impression & Entry: Neat, Stylish and Impressive! you can’t miss those breathtaking vistas of Hotel Lobby while making your way to Rosewater Restaurant which stands out for its stunning setting. Once we are in front of the restaurant at Podium Level the hostess greet us immediately upon entry and bring us to our table in main dining area, we were been given a short tour of whole restaurant, live stations as well as their stunning terrace (balcony open areas) which has pool view on one side and western coastline of Abu Dhabi sea on the front side.
While we were comfortably seated, the server soon approach for taking order for our hot or cold beverages.
Wide – Spread Buffet: The brilliant array of cuisines at Rosewater restaurant’s buffet will make you marvel since it’s not that effortless to maintain the standards so far above the ground from corner to corner especially with such an ample wide –spread buffet. We were been invited over their dinner buffet offering an extensive range of delicious options including canapés, sushi, salads, a variety of dishes from all around the world and live cooking stations serving pasta, noodles, steaks and even yummy crepes.
Modern Traces & Intelligent draftsman: The architecture is striking and well set up, decor of the restaurant is eye-catching and contemporary. The restaurant is so spacious and has excellent interior boasting an elegant yet trendy seating arrangement which is so well distributed making it ideal either for couples or large families or any business meeting . I was seated along with family on the most Royal spot, festooned with sparkling chandeliers and interesting wall treatments.
Ambiance & Environment: It has a tranquil peaceful amazing atmosphere. we loved the terrace too and stood their for a while and enjoyed the amazing views. Rosewater provides a tranquil setting with ceiling to floor windows creating a sense of space over all and you won’t feel it crammed or heaving even if it’s full house. The set-up of the buffet area on one side on the floor spread even give enough space to walk in and forth while you are choosing upon your dishes as well as the walking passage in between the cooking stations and counters is so wide.
Staff: The restaurant’s best features however are their delectable concoctions, but they are made even pleasant with the staff considerate service. They were so attentive without being intrusive; and it was very timely service with attention to detail. We even noticed one of the waiter always clearing our dining area and fixed napkins for kids every time we visit the buffet. I could say it’s fine dining feature of the service which is so rare in a buffet restaurant to this level.
Food: The excellent quality of food is absolutely satisfying. We like the very fine diversity of food! Whether it’s seafood or steak, Indian curry or Arabian salad, Salad or desserts every item on buffet is prepared with keenness and aptness. I can suggest this restaurant to everybody to make this fantastic experience of Abu Dhabi´s Best International Restaurant!
Although the selection of food is so wide, even then you will be surprised by the quality, they give complete attention to breads, salads and desserts too. I love their Classic Caesar Salad, Crispy Croutons, Quality Parmesan, marinated Chicken appetizers and the Prawn delicacies so juicy and infused with aroma. Kids love pasta so we custom ordered from the live station and Chef prepared it to perfection, I wished for a Grilled Portobello Mushroom and it was been fulfilled.
There were some specials mini platters at of glazed BBQ Sauced shrimps with spring onions they taste so amazing ; The Chef at live counter made sure that Chicken and meat is perfectly grilled and seasoned it involves communication but believe me from a lamb fillet to a tuna steak everything is available and the expert chefs will prepare it for you just the way you like it.
Soup was nicely seasoned with an abundance of sautéed ingredients. If only there is a choice od creamy one too; Asian sauce is some dishes were a wee bit salty for me, but then always you have asian food live stations for ordering the noodles and curries in the way you want, you can add any items been dried out earlier like sprouts, mushrooms, tomatoes etc. They look so visually remarkable, I have asked for sauce on the side and crisp fried vegetables.
Vegetables were finely chopped up in dishes and risottos tasted amazing too. I should say that the price is definitely worth it. Too bad that I am really not good on buffets as I get full easily. The choices were endless! I will definitely give my thumbs up to Rosewater for their dinner buffet due to added factors of ambiance and services along with great food.
Desserts : Finally for dessert it’s a long list , I had creme brulee, raspberry sauce, chocolate cake and that macron mini sweet burger over there, which again I forgot what it is called. Creme brulee was creamy and the top was crystallized to perfection! Rosewater have the largest variety in desserts ranging from Arabic to Indian Sweets, Crème Brulee to fruits tarts, flavored Mousse that incorporates air bubbles so well to give it a light and airy texture, Chocolate fondue and the Crepes counter was my kids’ favorite and it’s so difficult to move them away from it’s sight, honestly it attracts grown-ups equally.
Our Take: Personally, I couldn’t taste completely even 50 % of the items on menu as I get full so easily! All in all, it is a really elegant founding to have a special meal with friends, family or for a special occasion. Service along with visually beautiful menu items make this a place must to go back. we were blown away by the quality of their preparation.
Surely after this scrumptious buffet and indulgence in delicacies, you will kick off your day perfectly, you will return back there in no time. I guess our quarter tradition (visiting best food spots in town quarterly) continues strong as they won’t fail to make each visit a bit more special. We are returning to Rosewater soon !
