he Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa, Abu Dhabi’s preferred destination for luxurious hospitality, welcomed guests to celebrate the golfing season with a string of exciting events and soirees. Ideally located on the fringes of the sprawling Abu Dhabi Golf Club, The Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa hosted a gala dinner and fashion show from 21-23 January, allowing guests to relax and socialize after a long day at the ongoing golf tournament.
Heels on Grass: The Sartorial Takeover
Yet another event witnessing glamourous evening dedicated to fashion and beauty, it was perfect venue for the discerning fashionista. Guests met a range of makeup artists and hair experts, who were on hand to offer the latest advice on beauty trends, with a number of indulgent complimentary gifts to take home. Fashionistas also Relax and unwind at the after-party at Lemon & Lime at the Westin Abu Dhabi Golf Resort & Spa, where the best-dressed female was awarded an exciting prize.
There was a fascinating and great line-up of fashion brands and designers to display via fashionable ramp walk. House pf Fraser, Ush Boutique and Marion Murphy – Cooney were the great displayers of the night. The grand jewelry prize for best dressed lady was sponsored by Dhamani Jewels.
The Westin Golf Gala Dinner
As a fitting finale, the gala dinner held on the last day of the prestigious championship. Diners were welcomed with bubbly on arrival, following which they delved into a lavish four-course dinner designed by Ron Blaauw, the renowned Michelin star chef known for his eponymous restaurant in Amsterdam. Hosted at The Westin Lawn, the dinner was complemented by free-flowing bubbly and grape paired with each course, while guests were kept entertained by fire dancers, drummers and traditional Irish dancers. Also on the cards are a raffle and silent auction, to keep spirits soaring. However, the highlight of the evening was surprise performance by Dubai drummers which enthralled the audience and kick start the grand gala dinner.
