Jones The Grocer – Lively café and deli with a grand feel

This café is Located under Etihad Centre inside the compound, seems a very quiet and cozy place. Good indoor sitting is available however you can sit choosing The outdoor option too. The only disadvantage is ‘No private parking area,’ we had to park across at other building and reach the venue.  Also, there is no proper signage’s to navigate diners reaching the Cafe.

We kicked off the food rundown with Artisan and farmstead cheeses from Europe served with fresh bread and accompaniments. It includes Truffle Brie, Comté, & Manchego. But sadly Smoked Burrata was finished, and I badly wanted to taste the same. Plus antipasti and conserves mixed trays include Cured meats, seafood conserves, and antipasti paired with fresh bread and accompaniments. My personal favorites were Wagyu coppa, Wagyu pancia & Truffled veal salami. Hubby loved their month’s special Veal chorizo. Chargrilled artichokes were also included and taste wow!

Main courses are top here; the wagyu burger is heartily recommended. It called Jones Wagyu burger, freshly minced and marinated. It has wagyu, smoked beef bacon, mixed leaf salad and cheddar in a brioche bun served with skin-on fries and bois boudran sauce. The meat is juicy, and it came with glazed onions and was delicious.

I thoroughly enjoyed my side as well i-e Truffle & Parmesan Fries with truffle sauce at @jonesuae. You can’t complain when side bits look that gorgeous and are mouth-watering oh in taste as Well. We started our food journey via lip-smacking cheesy-meaty note.

In salads, we tried Moroccan spiced eggplant with herbed labneh and curry oil. It is a perfect example of simplicity of taste. They simply turn middle eastern savor into an innovative, delicious, healthy dish. You will be surprised at how these simple ingredients come together to make such a lively dish.

Pistachio herb crusted lamb rack with chickpea. It contains aubergine moussaka, paprika roasted potatoes, and mint tzatziki. This recipe brings together two meaty staples like no other. The Australian steak and Oriental lamb – it makes a high protein, healthy and generous portion. This was a part of Ramadan limited menu. However, I strongly recommend this to get a permanent slot in the regular menu as well. It is not every day that I get to enjoy a lamb rack in iftar to break my fast. Hence I was extremely delighted to taste this earthy, middle-eastern flavored aromatic delight!

Hearty and oriental spiced combination satisfied my tastebuds and food sensing “sight” both. The meat was falling off the bones and melting in your mouth. It’s mouth-watering and a must to be added in regular menu kind of main. Kids enjoyed their Mushroom Risotto & Garlic and chili linguini tomato reduction.,  served fresh basil and shaved Parmesan. We loved the Ramadan special Date and an almond milk shake. It was heavy yet so pleasant in taste and of course refreshing immediately after breaking your fast. Also, I liked Pink lemonade.

Jones The Grocer’s Healthy, tasty and quick to connect dishes on menu card tick all the right boxes! I look forward to more power meals here to find my day’s motivation I need! The meat quality was as expected and overall we had a lovely time. Myself with daughter even took a stroll to see what’s on offer on the shelves and staff was throughout available to answer all queries. Overall a nice experience with delicious and well-presented food.

The service is just brilliant, very quick and so pleasant. The servers and Store Supervisor all were so attentive and friendly. We were promptly attended to and our order arrived pretty quickly on the table.
