When it comes to serving Indian cuisine into a signature combination restaurant, this group certainly topped our list in Abu Dhabi. Their restaurants have always been more than just the food they serve. This time we visited Kababs and Kurries after venturing Chhappan Bhog & Avasa.The menu includes vegetarian and meat curries, biryani dishes and kebab rolls, as well as traditional soups and desserts. Hence a good place to experience a wide variety of Indian starters, curries, roasts and so on. Mughlai cuisine is surely their specialty, and it made me feel nothing less than desi by heart yourself.

Food took a bit time to arrive at the table. However, the starters literally left us awestruck, and we simply got over the delay point. Veg and non-veg assorted platters with over four-plus varieties in both the dishes truly satisfied our hungry bellies. Each item was flaming hot when arrived at the table. Sizzlers were well presented in apt size serving gears to suit the size of the table and to be reachable from all sides of the table you are sitting. Lit candle beneath the furnace plate style trays made sure to keep it warm throughout your dining journey.

Sizzling Chicken tikka tiranga includes three different kinds of preparation malai kofta, classic tikka, and green minty tikka. Shikkampuri kebab was delicious. Fresh Indian Lambchop is coming from Indian each day as they don’t use a frozen one. The veg platter was very delicious too.We also enjoyed two hot and Sizzling seafood dishes, fish tikka & jhinga tandoori which was another highlight of the evening. All over the meat was tender and succulent and is not tough indicating its freshness.

The food was amazingly flavorful and attractively presented the service was huge a welcoming smile & is outstanding. We were taken care by Mr. Pankaj who went that extra mile to make us feel the special one. In all, it is always a delight to visit this finest fine dining restaurant. The biryani was very flavorful. We also had some naan which tasted fresh and hot.

Some if my fav were Tandoori Chicken Salad which was again very healthy and fresh, chicken chunks were perfectly grilled which made it extra delicious. I would suggest those who like Arabic version of salad should try out this option at Kababs and Kurries. Paneer Tikka was very luscious; they use homemade cottage cheese marinated with tandoori masala grilled over glowing embers.The food is really good and makes you want to come back again and again.
All in all, they serve great Indian food and have very friendly staff and good ambiance. Price is also reasonable. If you are a lover of excellent Indian food, then this is the destination for you. Be it starters or main course or sweet dishes; everything is so tasty and fresh. Thanks fro treating me special for my birthday treat as well 🙂 In desserts we loved Kulfi and Gulab Jamun, worth trying.
Do their Dal Makhani! Forget the calories; it’s worth every bite. Prestarter papads were addictive & Yougurt lassi is amazing too.
