Let’s Wok

Let’s Wok is a calm place located in Murror area; this Asian eatery is quite popular among the crowd for car hops, take away & home deliveries. However, they have a very decent seating arrangement within the small shop plus an ample outdoor sitting area to enjoy the lovely weather. We chose to dine in and visited for dinner; owners were present to host us and take us through the entire concept. The staff was welcoming though way too occupied with stopping by customers for takeaway orders as well as home delivery bookings.

We started off our meal with what we love the most in any Asian food layout and became essential in most of the Chinese food outlets, yes; the dynamite shrimps. Mark our verdict they were best of the best we sampled here in UAE, the taste, and sumptuousness in the mouth is OMG!! Speaking with the founders, we got to know one of the secrets behind these and other items. It’s the fresh catch of gulf shrimps and other meat/seafood they source from Mina Market (on daily basis) which made it delicate and tasty coated with just the right amount of batter and which is not falling it while you devoured. We highly recommend you to try it is their best seller dish!

Next order to arrive at the table was Yum Cha, a platter of delicate morsels of goodness cooked to perfection. Prawn, chicken, vegetable steamed as well as toasted dumplings and spring rolls. Yum, cha served along with the prawn crackers and a selection of homemade sauces including ginger soy sauce & spicy Thai sweet chili sauce. This platter could well adjust about quantity as per the group serving need for 10, 15 or 20 ppl.

Afterwards, we tasted tom yum soup which was so delightful and delicious it is made with vegetable and herbs broth and chicken or prawn can be added to the content of it as per your choice. I love the zest and freshness along with the consistency of that matching a clear broth style soup.

We also customized from Build your bowl menu,  as kids especially found this fairly nice and creative, where we created our version of noodles by choosing the type of noodles, sauce and content and chef will prepare as per your customization. From wok noodle specialty apart from building our meal we tried their famous signature dish Chicken Mee Goreng with cheese. The taste of marinated chicken strips in a spicy sauce will surely make it ideal for spice lovers along with chili, garlic and tamarind sauce stir-fried with cabbage, snow peas, and wild chili sauce. Told Ya it’s hot! topped with sunny side up egg, spring onions, sesame seeds, and shredded cheese.

We also decided to sample the traditional Thai green curry served with Seaseme jasmine rice and was equally good, tofu and veg is a great option to get the full flavor however you may choose prawns, seafood, chicken or beef mixed serving. We were impressed by their portion sizes.

Satay beef steak & cashew chicken were the two option been tried as stir-fries along with different styles of rice options. Both dishes were tasty. We will also recommend you to try their Satay options as they are not the usual grilled skewers style but is Malaysian style satay curry, in case you want to avoid beef they have the same option with chicken as well. Lemongrass aroma with crushed peanuts made this steak stew very rick and perfect with regards to consistency, we wanted to taste garlic and egg fried rice hence we sampled the same, but it’s ideal with plain jasmine rice.

Our drinks were refreshing yet tropical with the mixed berry mojitos & peach iced tea. Desserts did not impress us a lot as we tasted chocolate mousse and ice-creams were also not available. However overall menu was very notable, and we guarantee that once you order or visit the venue, you will not regret it!
