The lobby is stunning; I like all the designs from the entrance to Mamsha AlSeef and from Gym to rooms. They introduce the luxury resort suites with an innovative and refreshing concept to change perceptions of the extended stay forever. This family-friendly serviced residence features a sophisticated Mediterranean atmosphere, refined first class service, and excellent location, where each suite becomes a fantasy destination catering to both families and the individual traveler.

Our experience:
Our experience was stupendous. The check in was seamless In spite the fact that it’s a new property in Abu Dhabi, there was an immense display of courtesy standards & staff professionalism. It didn’t feel like the hotel is just in the first year of launch. Our first impression was Ok. Soon after a routine welcoming by the reception staff, we were taken around in the buggy to the resort and showed us the area. I have to say; it would look even more gorgeous upon completion as some of the VIP villas were under final touches at that time. We observed plenty of shops and restaurants inside the resort (Mamsha Al-Seef), and there is a mall (Al Seef Village) is directly connected as well. Courtesy of Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus we also enjoyed exclusive complimentary access to Abu Dhabi’s hidden gem, Happiness Island, located off the coast of Saadiyat.
Mamsha Al Seef by Andalus:
This resort defines a new lifestyle of choices with renowned dining, entertainment and fashion brands located in Mamsha Al Seef and the Al Seef Village Mall. Mamsha Al Seef by Andalus is a food street located within the resort. It offers over 20 outlets featuring international cuisines and retail options with Alfresco seating during the cooler months. It is a European-style boulevard with a range of international cuisine, retail options and alfresco seating – perfect for relaxation during the evenings and weekends.

Rooms & Suites:
Al Seef Resort & Spa by Andalus feature four outdoor swimming pools with sun loungers set among palm trees. The property offers the suites, situated in low-rise villas i-e spacious suites from 1 to 3 bedrooms, furnished with fully equipped kitchens, customized beds, flat screen televisions and organic bath amenities. The one-bedroom suites offer 76 square meters terrace on the rooftop, perfect for relaxing on sun loungers or Al fresco dining. The two-bedroom suites feature either view of the pool or a private garden and are located on the ground floor, while the one and three bedroom suites are accessible by stairs. The design of the rooms is friendly and comfortable and makes you feel like home.

On the very second day of our stay, we dashed off to the adjacent shopping mall to pick up fresh fruit and cake for lunch. It’s a great area for an evening stroll and light night walk if you feel like it. The streets fitted with dozens of umbrellas strike an incredible ambiance to enhance the beauty; they were in a fix to renew the umbrellas to brighten the colors further.
They have friendly staff however since the facility is big they are probably short of staff which causes a little delay in getting the request answered. Our villa (2 bedrooms)was very clean and orderly arranged plus relaxation pool/jacuzzi was just in front as we had a pool view. This factor added our luxury, and the spacious room gave the feeling of being home. Our kids felt safe and happy at this Mediterranean styled residence, which was home away from home for them in those two days. Only breakfast was offered on coupons basis at Bikers Café in Al-Seef Village mall. We enjoyed rest of the meal however at the venue as well since of course saving grace was the Al Seef Village Mall which is right next to the resort, as we accessed other restaurants and supermarket.

The staff is friendly and accommodating. I would recommend this resort for families as the pool and jacuzzi were great with a wonderful family atmosphere and trained lifeguards, my kids even have attended the swimming class via in-house trainers. Kudos to Ms. Twinky for professionally handling our requests for swimming assistance and making sure that our children are safe while in the pool facility.

Other Features
Two gyms already opened within this smoke-free hotel vicinity. Additionally, concierge services, dry cleaning, and laundry facilities are onsite. The ‘fully serviceable kitchen’ has pots nor pans along with functioning stove to cater to the needs of long-term guests.

Verdict:
Andalus Hotels & Resorts is Abu Dhabi’s first and only luxury resort suites, and residences in an all-inclusive compound, Al Seef Village by Andalus. It is an ideal spot for memorable Family Staycation, featuring a sophisticated Mediterranean atmosphere. It has refined first class service and excellent location for both long and short term stays. We had a great escape from the busy work life and recommended to all Couples and Families as a perfect place for a memorable weekend. Thank you for making our stay worthwhile.
