Seafood Night at The Garden – Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi
Food:
I liked the salad bar and desserts they are offering, it has so much variety to offer as well as great taste. Main dishes are many and sufficient for representing a seafood specialty Buffet spread. Some however, were not that great but most of them I will consider as good and indeed I have never come across so many options with Gravy/curry with a fish element in it. The only thing disappointed me was there’s no sushi which normally included in the seafood nights in other hotels. And I must say the standard for sushi is great at The Garden which I tasted a week back in their lovely Friday Brunch hence I was so much anticipating for the same in Monday special Seafood night.
Seafood Specialty:
There was steamed/grilled shrimps station with lobster and other seafood variety for fish as well, and they were continuously re-filled, there was a long queue to wait for your turn on that counter hence once they took the order it will be served on to your table directly.
If you are in Abu Dhabi, make a point of going to the seafood buffet night. At this hotel, you will not be disappointed, as they had a good range of seafood, and a very good value for money. The hotel is centrally located, and very easy to find. We did enjoy our dining experience at The Garden, the International Buffet restaurant as they recently refurbished it to improve guests’ dining experience and are all set to embrace the spirits of Ramadan by offering Iftar buffet as well.
The staff and their service deserve mention as they make the difference and help in making this restaurant truly stand out. My mojitos request with no sugar was well taken care of by Tariq, and Executive Chef always make sure we receive the warm welcome and attention. The cooks rustle up some great food on the go as well, when kids didn’t find many choices of Pasta.
We were delighted to enjoy their buffet and look forward to going back soon. Next time you are Abu Dhabi, give this restaurant (and the hotel) a try. Trust me; you will not be disappointing & find them pretty wallet-friendly especially with their ongoing offer:

Friday Brunch:
Earlier we reviewed their Friday Brunch which was amazing, and my little Ms. food diva @mishalovez had taken over @mahiblog for a video review for crowneplazaabudhabi foodie encounter! We would suggest you to kick off our weekend today with the newly launched Friday brunch called The Garden Social Brunch. It is quite family friendly with much variety and variation for almost everyone in the family.
We enjoyed fresh seafood, yummy live BBQ station, interactive sushi, sashimi & dim sum counter, the bread & cheese corners. Mr. K loved the Mexican tapas & nachos stall. Kids’ favorite was candy floss & colorfully decorated dessert tables. I loved the Desi dishes as well. Salad and cold appetizers have a wide variety and was liked by us all equally along with refreshing mojitos and coffee. I would highly recommend this Friday brunch for its appetizing and tasty food at this cost and is conveniently located in the center of the city.
