We surely had a Par-tea! At the launch of the afternoon tea at Central Grounds at Marriott Downtown Abu Dhabi.
Cafe is very well built and architecturally posh with high ceilings and luxury yet plush furniture. Fashionably elegant artwork by Polish Artist Mary Noga was exhibited at the event. It was a lovely afternoon enjoying of tasty pastries, freshly baked scones & sandwiches along with refreshing herbal tea. It is indeed a very well sorted, pocket-friendly (80 dhs), engaging & stylish afternoon tea, presented at a cosmopolitan set-up, downtown Capital view and with cosy and comfortable seating.
In savory we liked smoked salmon & cucumber rye as well as Chicken Avocado with brie on focassia bread. My top 3 favorite on their glorious afternoon tea stand though would be banana bread, blueberry muffin and egg & turkey ciabatta. Their fruit tar with custard filling was pure love. I loved the par-balance between savory and sweet items inteh presentation plus the freshly prepared blueberry infused herbal tea! you may choose between tea and coffee.
