This place never leaves us unconvinced, like last year this year too Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah is hosting Iftar and Suhoor at their splendid and fulsome space venue in Dubai, at the preferred Award-Winning Layali Tent. And this time even on a bigger, grander and more spectacular scale. Tent is been setup in a way that delicately splashing fountains found within the tent itself having these comforting chambers on both sides of it.
Family-Friendly:
I literally enjoyed my time with family and kids as we cherish the breath-taking views of Dubai’s miraculous skyline to the gallivant waters of the Arabian Sea. Layali tent provides the sophisticated diner with an experience befitting of the Holy Month of Ramadan. Befitting for family or large groups you will find solace and privacy in the chambers, a place where you have no appointments, obligations, or stress, just get indulged with the spirit of Ramadan under calming ambiance.
Ambiance & Entertainment:
To keep up with the Arabic traditions the aromatic scent of 30 different types of shisha allow guests to dine in true Ramadan style while providing a relaxing atmosphere to enjoy with friends and family. In addition, the venue is also the ideal location for corporate gatherings. Especially created this year, the private majilis at Layali tent will allow you and your guests to experience the spirit of Ramadan, whether you are in the company of friends, family, or colleagues. Listening to traditional music instruments played LIVE it has whole experience of beauty and tranquility of Ramadan at this impeccably decorated and elegantly furnished venue with fascinating entertainment.
Food Rundown:
We have found some fusion of delectable food along with traditional Emirati and Arabic food. Talented Chef Kasem Alkhobi from Syria has prepared the finest traditional Iftar buffet, which is a six day rotating menu, in order to create a unique and delicious dining experience every time you visit. The Layali Tent blends prestigious Kempinski hospitality with culinary excellence.

- Assorted Pizzas
- Grilled Seafood skewers
Their Salad variety is best so far we had in Iftar Buffets in Dubai, also the BBQ, Grill & Steaks were tasty. Their Roasted Scottish Salmon Fillet was the highlight of the menu as well. Variety of Ramadan drinks were there to enjoy along with fresh juices.
Verdict:
This is one of our favourite spots in Dubai to dine in. We simply love the special welcome waiting for us at the Kempinski Hotel & Residences Palm Jumeirah. It is so amazing to see the transformation of their wide spread terrace into a traditional Layali tent along with the water fountain and private chambers set-up. Iftar Buffet menu is nothing short of culinary goodness with core emphasize of traditional dishes in their true spirit. We loved their dessert section too. We recommend this to all readers.
