A Pleasant Italian Feast – Ricetta

The menu does not throw major surprises, as most of the common items were scribble; however few dishes were unique and were found them exceptional in taste upon encountering.  The servers are well aware of the history of each dish. There is still Variety in the menu, and that’s your cue to change your usual lunch venue and move up to Ricetta. I loved the salad; it was fresh and healthy with mixed lettuces and cherry tomatoes. Grapes, beetroot, and apricot chunks made an addictive combo with goat cheese. Balsamic vinegar and Olive Oil dressing were luscious. The soup was tad bit bland for me with no extra effort been put up there.

Burrata was presented on crostini bread with fresh basil and mint leaves and tasted good. I haven’t experienced this unusual combination of basil & Mint together, but it felt pleasant to our taste buds.

With traditional red and white checkers tablecloth, they still manage to bring some colors to the table by using colorful plates. Presentation of each dish was unique. The house-made Tagliatelle pasta won over our hearts and stomach. The creamy spice sauce is to die for there was ample amount of cheese and mushrooms and greens to the dish to make it yet a healthier option. This dish undeniably had us buffing up the entire meal in a matter of a few minutes The Pollo Picante pizza, comes with a generous topping of bell pepper chicken and cheese layered over thin crispy crust, making it look as heavenly as it tastes. The most satisfying and gratifying taste of Pasta and Pizza I had experienced at this place.

Our Pizza & Pasta pretty much set the tone for the rest of the meal, and me and my partner being confident went our separate ways while ordering the mains – he opted for the Grilled King Prawns, while I decided to be a little more adventurous and opted for the Pan-seared beef tenderloin. Roasted shallot was worth mentioning in taste, and the Portobello mushroom mousse was a unique induction in garnishing and enhanced the flavor.

With unique dressing of King Prawns, it was a stand-out dish as well having garlic, capers, parsley, chili flakes and lemon sauce. Love the aroma and crunchiness in flavors, Carnival grilled bell pepper & a polenta chip made this dish so hefty, and the outcome is par excellence!

Another worth-Tasting main we tried was Grilled Half Chicken. Especially loved by kids was Grilled Half Chicken. The flavors are so authentic, and it’s juicy. It was sitting on a bed of parmesan baked potato with all its acquired taste. The honey & grain mustard sauce a great companion aiding us to mop it off the plate.

Dinner at this place would also be a great value for money as prices of each dish on the menu is fairly reasonable. Combined with a cozy and colorful interior (traditional Italian style eatery) this place was decked up with dozens of wall hangings and paintings. The display of fruits, vegetables, and spices at the entrance added to its welcoming touch. It was warm and intimate ambiance assuring a memorable dining experience for us. They also offer the outdoor seating area facing the pool when weather allows.

Staff was thoroughly pleasant, and it just added to the experience. Himal has taken care of us throughout the dinner being so hospitable, and we liked his enthusiasm. Chef Eura came to the table personally to check the requirements. The antipasti and garlic bread were absolutely delicious. I was overall glad. 

Mains were everything and took a while to arrive at the table, but it was well worth the wait. It was all we could ask for. A shared strawberry tiramisu dessert and green tea finished us off beautifully. I loved the twist of Strawberry as it gives a pleasant break from a standard traditional Tiramisu. Kids enjoyed their delicious scoop of ice-cream.
