Savor the Flavors of Ramadan at Barbecue Delights

During this Ramadan while enjoying many iftar buffets we were so missing out on traditional Pakistani Iftar, hence happily decided to accept a kind invite from Barbeque Delights. The venue is offering one of the most popular Indo-Pak Iftar and dinner buffets in Dubai; we had earlier visited their JBR branch long ago for a friend’s party and liked the food. Visiting the branch in downtown this time was a great experience too.

The Iftar menu includes traditional Iftar items like pakoras, samosas, dahi baras, cholay, fresh fruits, dates, etc. Some other favorites of family and me were Fruit Chaat, Aloo Chana, haleem, and tea.

Appetizers are inclusive of many Arabic cold mezzeh plus delicious banjan borani. Hot specialty dishes consisted of my favorite items like aloo jeera, mutton karahi, chicken biryani, khattay baigan and daal with vegetable karahi and plain rice.

Their Barbecue is signature and consist of tender and succulent reshmi and beef kebab, malai tikka, Afghani kebab, etc. amongst few more. Also, there is an elaborate dinner spread including grilled barbecue items, traditional curries, a variety of rice dishes and a selection of desserts.

The best part of the Iftar was tasting on ytypical Pakistani Ramadan drink Rooh Afza. Yes, the restaurant is also offering traditional drinks like Rooh Afza, lassi, mint lemonade, juices in addition to tea, coffee, etc. as part of their Iftar buffet.

The elaborate spread over all includes more than 60 dishes and those who have already been there like us already know the variety of the dishes available. Nothing is lesser than the other; they gave attention to small & minute details. The staff is very active and diligent making sure that diners breaks their fast with all the comfort and try their utmost to provide them with great services and fulfilling exceptional wishes too during this special month of giving.

Barbecue Delights is a casual dining restaurant offering a variety of Pakistani, Afghani and North Indian inspired cuisine. Their cuisine provides variety and taste that is enjoyed by people of all cultures. In my opinion, it’s truly “international” restaurant as they do honor many different cooking traditions in usual days and interpret them with unique creative vision. Tasting Banjan Borani within Iftar items itself was a lovely pleasant, and I can surely tell the standard of Arabic touch food they prepare too.

Barbecue Delights is also offering different ways to experience Iftar – especially for corporate Iftar parties either at one of the restaurant branches or at a location of your choice.
