Level Lounge at Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi, Hamdan Street in Abu Dhabi has recently re-launched official and the hotel has thrown a Grand party to celebrate. The official party kicked off with throbbing vibes and post the event we decided to pay a visit once again upon kind request from Ms. M. Location wise the venue boost a great scene and good Ambiance.
Since it’s at Rooftop poolside with a beautiful view and trendy music, we loved spending long hours capturing the time-lapse of Sunset chilling in this place. We even enjoyed few drinks, appetizers and the main course as food run-down naturally.
Hospitality-wise Crowne Plaza Abu Dhabi is famed for making its guests feel like they’re at home. Restaurant Manager, a lovely lady, went extra mile to make sure we leave with a happy smile. The food was good and can surely be improved. I loved the staff serving attitude, someone was always around to attend to you. The ambiance and the music added to the experience. Hence we loved the vibe overall.
The prices of drinks and food are reasonable, and beverages are amazing!! It was extremely relaxing listening to the music with the sight of skyscrapers in the background. It just simply makes it the perfect location lounge. Yes, the shisha was available too, so hubby has no complaints about why here? For me, this venue appeared as a good surprise, perfect for a relaxing time and feeling refreshed.
Starting off from the welcome drinks and beverages, Strawberry Iced Tea & Virgin Pina colada were freshly made and not overly sweet. From the new concoctions Manager also offered Strawberry chamomile & Orange & passion fruit punch which was quite refreshing.
Quinoa salad is a must try! This healthy and vegetarian nutritious starter is a mixed bowl of Quinoa, chickpeas, Cucumber, Sweet pepper, onion and chopped parsley. Tossed off with lemon vinaigrette this has a refreshing taste and filling too. Highly recommended.
If you are Asian food lover, you won’t get disappointed either, as they serve Asian Bites consist of Veg spring rolls and sushi with crab stick, avocado, and cucumber. Sushi was ok while spring roll was made crispy and fresh. Vietnamese Crepe is also an healthy option with fried shrimps to try. For waffles I would suggest not to serve it over the bed of lettuce as it becomes mushy & lose its crispness. Shrimps were great in quality.
Falafel with beetroot hummus is a great option for mezzeh lover, I loved it! Not long prepared its presented with pickles and portion size is good for one person. My second favorite was Queso Fundido, where corn tortilla chips were served with cheddar cheese, beef chorizo, onion. Garlic and jalapeno. Its dainty and addictive, I kept munching while hubby enjoyed shisha and I was devouring the view and sipping on my mocktails.
From the main course on Manager’s recommendation we tried the best i-e Beef Ribs. Presented along with stick fries this thick gravy coated rib chunks are so tender & juicy. The beef confit was so well done along with cheddar cheese and crisy beef pancetta.
Another great recommendation for Tex-Mex lovers is Burritos Boat. This tortilla bread wraps are slight spicy but yet delicious with chicken thigh pieces, scallions, BBQ sauce, chipotle beans and cheddar cheese rolled inside. It was good in serving size and served fresh. Brownie we tasted in the end had definitely was a remarkable end note to this delicious tasting experience. 9/10 for the taste and presentation for this item alone.
The food presentation over all is much convenient and in disposable containers catering well to the concept of street food layout, what I personally love the most was the ease and the finesse factor with the wooden cutlery. It was so unique & classy.
Surely this place is added to our list of-of Abu Dhabi’s favorite outdoor chill out experience! Being the perfect hideaway, it combines the unique sensory of open air and a relaxed atmosphere making an unforgettable experience. Overall I enjoyed this unique setting, sunset refreshments and time with hubby. We are soon returning until arrives the scorching summers in UAE. We love the food offering at this Unique and lovely hotel in Abu Dhabi City and earlier have reviewed their other interesting restaurants like Cho Gao , The Garden & Spaccanapoli.
