Tribeca restaurant & bar is located at the Ocean View Hotel, in the heart of JBR’s The Walk, Dubai. It serves wholesome and organic food and beverage options in a lounge bar environment. Boasting an indoor and outdoor capacity of 300 plus, the new Kitchen &Bar is a unique concept.
The management and staff are courteous and willing to help and the food tastes really good. The place is worth experiencing hence we decided to check it. Upon arrival we were warmly welcomed. A quick glance around made us choose a serene corner near the graffiti portraits and thoughtfully placed painted frames.
Venue has a big screen for the sports and movie viewing. Décor is inspired by a conceptual New York styled loft space infused by an overall urban artistic motif, concrete floors and walls, bare ceilings, exposed grates, wooden pallets and steel structures throughout, which is astonishing. I loved the bath tub art piece, enlightened and with striking ambiance of floating water. The whole aura and décor was very interesting and so many cool things to look at! The whole food ordering process was swift and well taken care by knowledgeable staff.
In starters we had ‘Burrata Cheese with cherry tomatoes, caramelized Figs plus pesto, we love the crunchy crackers touch to this item. Also Salmon tarter with avocado puree, a very well conceptualized and consistent dish on menu. Then I opted for chicken, kale, mango and avocado salad paleo, which was displayed very well and look super attractive, also the serving was not too small. We entirely love their paleo range, Paleo Lasagne is a must try indeed. It offers many healthy dishes. Over all the starters and salads were really tasty.
We would also recommend this place for an excellent evening meal other than the regular dinner and lunch. Whilst the menu is not vast we still had plenty of choice and ate starters, mains and selected desserts. Vegetarians won’t be dishearten as they have some great options too. Loved the way breads/bruschetta’s were served on black slabs.
It’s not a dry restaurant hence you would enjoy some cocktails or mocktails along with some good music. All in all it was a great evening with good mood and excellent food. Diners visiting will be happily surprised to see a vivacious, in vogue and contemporary atmosphere. Yet there is still a possibility to find your haven of peace and serenity near the Graffiti art wall by or on the terrace seating.
Their main dished are mostly organic, the healthiest one! Salads had a wide variety; I enjoyed truffle risotto served with seasonal mixed muhrooms dressed with parmesan shaving on top. Truffle oil drizzled on top did the wonders. Main course also included grilled vegetables and cauliflower rice as full meal sides, organic pasta was also impressive.
In mains we had Tribeca Burger with Fries- It has ground beef from farms grass-fed animals, Cajun mayonnaise, tomatoes, beetroot and cheddar. The taste of caramelized onions on burger patty made it unique in taste. My better half tried Beef Tenderloin Tagiliata with roasted cherry tomatoes, it’s presented on the bed of rocket leaves and fresh salad.
Then comes the happy ending Tribeca Cheese Cake, the desserts which will entice you in a whole different way. It is basically a steamed cheese cake presented in a deconstructed way along with individual servings of almond crumble, passion fruit and vanilla cream cheese cake itself in a beautiful multipurpose 3-tier glass tower. The taste was devouring and delightful. we also tried Tribeca Eton Mess with Meringue, strawberry and cream. It was great in presentation however too sweet for our liking.
Staff is so active and courteous. Restaurant is very well-organized in terms of seating arrangement. I would recommend their light, healthy and organic menu since the food I tasted was nothing less than implausible. A nice drink selection along with a juvenile chic crowd, live music band and great ambiance are the highlights of our experience. Highly suggested, you won’t be disappointed. A special thanks to Tribeca staff and Restaurant manager and Rosa from Sociate PR.
Nice bar, huh! 😃😉👌
